Travelling: Off to Alps


Each year I'm off with my boyfriend and friends to French Alps. It's the time when I don't think, analyse or plan. I simply enjoy breath-taking nature, the chilling cold of the snow and warmth of the sun. Bright days are filled with tips down the slopes, long nights consist of goofy faces, apres-ski, delicious French food & wines and table games. I don't think that there is a better recipe of happiness.

"Каждый год мы с друзьями ходим  в баню"- примерно так я звучу, когда рассказываю знакомым и приятелям о нашей традиции каждый год уезжать на неделю во Францию, в Альпы кататься на сноубордах. Это та драгоценная неделя, когда я не думаю, не анализирую, не планирую, а просто наслаждаюсь перехватывающей дыхание красотой природы, холодом снега и греющими лучами солнца. Яркие дни наполнены спусками с гор, длинные ночи нашими смешными лицами, вкусными винами и играми в настольные игры. Не думаю, что существует лучший рецепт счастья.

  5. oh how wonderful! and a big bowl of jealousy as I am - I am jealous! I know so many people who are there right now or just got back, same thing with some bloggers I follow.
    I didn't actually know you snowboard - that's pretty cool! I've never tried it myself but as a big fan of winter and snow and all kinds of snow activities it's definitely on my bucket list!

I want to go on a vacation too! maybe not on a cold vacation (since it's freezing here in Estonia anyway) but why not on a springlike vacation, hehe. oh those dreams.. anyway, those photos are so beautiful and I wish you an amazing vacation! enjoy and take lots of sunny photos! :)

  48. So impressive!! :) You look really amazing in these pictures (and you leather coat is SO cute! Or isn't it leather?) - and relaxed! ;) This looks like the dream vacation - the one I dream of being on, too, right now. :( (Unfortunately, there is too much work to do, so no way I will get away anytime soon...)
    I just wondered: You're standing there in full snowboard gear, but there is no snow!! At least not in the pic. ;)
